Jean Nouvel designs the latest kitchens from Reform
The well-known kitchen manufacturer Reform has repeatedly entered into exciting collaborations in the past - but the latest announcement is even more promising. It is with Pritzker Prize winner and star architect Jean Nouvel.
This time, a particularly outstanding duo has come together: Traditional, minimalist design from Scandinavia meets French, expressive aesthetics in the "Reflect" collection. Jean Nouvel's kitchens impress with their timeless, simple elegance, which also makes reference to the design language of Art Deco. It is an addition to the existing kitchen range, the grooves in the material allow a play of light and shadow. The stainless steel is reminiscent of an industrial kitchen, but also remains light and pleasant.
Focus on the user
The signature of the well-known architect is clearly recognizable in the monochrome and simple design: the pure black materials with the vertical grooves reveal a diverse design spectrum. As an architect, Nouvel is known for his incredibly aesthetic landscapes, which have earned him international recognition. At Reform, on the other hand, his kitchen creations are more accessible. Nevertheless, there are parallels between the architecture and the kitchen design. In both environments, Nouvel aims to create an atmosphere that focuses on the well-being of the user.
The kitchen is a particularly exciting space, as on the one hand it is used to prepare food and therefore has a functional character, but in recent years it has also become a place with a lively and inviting ambience. The new kitchen from Reform, with the collaboration of star architect Jean Nouvel, has been available from Reform since September.
