    In Switzerland, you can claim some of the value-preserving investments against tax. Only these investments are deductible, while value-enhancing measures that increase the value of the property are not tax-deductible. Value-preserving investments also include energy-saving measures that are supported by the cantonal building program if you reduce the energy consumption or CO2 emissions of your property. These costs can be spread over up to three tax years.
