RAUMTAKT stands for a climate-friendly future. Our projects in 2023

We develop and plan spaces with a future.

Our lives are determined by the spaces that surround us. A well-designed space can inspire, increase focus, have a liberating effect and have a decisive and positive influence on our everyday lives. In recent years, we have experienced a new departure in the development and design of spaces.

We are engaging more deeply and intensively with what constantly surrounds us. The quality of and demand for spaces has risen steadily in recent years and has become increasingly important. However, the topics of building and living are also a constant source of social discussion and change - it's about affordable living space, quality of life in cities and well-being within our own four walls, but also in a community.

We can look forward to a decade in which new building materials will be used, energy will experience a revolution and living situations will be created for new communities. This will allow creative freedom for planners, construction managers and architects who realize these visions and keep them together.

To this end, the well-known Zukunftsinstitut in Germany has also taken up the current living trends for 2023 and highlights developments in the housing and construction industry. The institute uses the term "radical materials" and writes that people's growing awareness of sustainability is also reflected in research into new materials. This includes trends such as decarbonization, zero waste and beyond plastic.

As in fashion, "pre-loved" will also increase in the home. Together with the desire for individualization, used and upcycled pieces of furniture are being used in the design of living environments. This is also about the circular economy and sharing economy.

The bathroom will also play a very important role in the home; the institute refers to it as the spa room. In uncertain times, the bathroom will become a place of retreat and social cocooning. It is also a place to escape constant accessibility and digitalized spaces. A little luxury in everyday life.

RAUMTAKT was founded in 2014 by Stefan Müller: He was convinced that the time was right to be part of a new era in the construction industry. In a new culture, existing structures are being reinterpreted and buildings are being converted or renovated, be it with additions or extensions. But denser construction is also a way of shaping the world in a sustainable and climate-conscious way. RAUMTAKT is committed to preserving good building fabric and wants to strengthen the circular economy in the construction sector. We build according to the Lego principle. The building elements we use can be easily separated again in the future, and when a building is dismantled, components can be dismantled and stored so that they can be used again elsewhere. With efficient construction methods, we can build more climate-friendly, cheaper and with less effort. These measures will enable us to reduce energy requirements in the future. RAUMTAKT stands for a climate-friendly future.

Manifesto

We love buildings. We like places and spaces that move and inspire us. We want to create buildings that provide a backdrop for wonderful memories for people - whether in the office, restaurant or home. We want to create efficient buildings that increase productivity, are flexible and modular and remain relevant in the future. We want to create buildings that produce more energy than they consume and use renewable and natural materials in their construction whenever possible.

With our design and strategy approach, RAUMTAKT wants to lead by example and create an ecological world of tomorrow with buildings.

Our construction project in 2023
